Conversations On Royal Soil

While I am an American citizen and the U.S. is very much my home, the land from which my heart springs is actually the UK.  However, my time in England was divided between my childhood and early adult years with a portion of my life during which I lived in Germany.  Germany is where I first had real access to horses, and where I learned so much of my early horsemanship technique.  But the natural horsemanship methods kept calling me to the west, and so I went. Still, this country feels like home to me, and I make an annual effort to return to it and the people there to bring back what it is I originally came to America to learn.
Annually I travel through Europe after visiting the UK, where I return to Germany and often make a stop-off in Denmark.  Animal Communication paves the way for exceptional horsemanship clinics in which there is no line where one begins and the other ends.  We incorporate them both, equally, along with energy healing, of course!
As I look forward it seems as though it’s nearly time to return, but for now, we bring you memories from this past year’s accomplishments and memories from my travels abroad.

Animal Communication in the UK is always sure to provide a wonderful time.  The horses and indeed the rest of the animals are deeply connected to the land there, where sheep and horses roam green fields together, and their shepherd dogs oversee their safety.

This much hard work during the day requires some respite in the afternoons. And just as the “man-cave” is a phenomenon in the U.S., we found a charming location with a similar theme available to the ladies on the clinic.

The Origin of Passion

How did it all start, the worldwide journey of Anna Twinney? What provoked the drive to develop the methods, the students, and to reach out to the horses? We can bring a person’s trajectory into focus so much more clearly when we know the backstory, the trials, the inequities, and understand what exactly they went through to become the person they are today. Anna has provided us with just that, a story, The Origin of Passion.

Follow the link below to all the stages of the journey, the videos, and to get the scoop on what brought Anna to greatness as an ambassador on behalf of the animals who call Earth their home.

Anna’s European Tour Picked up by the Horsemanship Network!

Horsemanship Network

Our good friend, Mark Mottershead, of the Horsemanship Network in the UK shared Anna’s upcoming trip to Europe with all of their readers.  Thanks, Mark, for partnering with us in the journey!

Anna Twinney comes to Europe!
Move beyond your limitations with Anna
this May in the UK, Germany and Spain

If you think that the horse’s language is merely body language and physical cues, then be prepared to have your life changed and your mind blown. The language that horses speak amongst themselves every day is subtle and comprehensive. They are having a conversation all the time that you are most likely not even aware of. And like any language, the horses won’t speak to you, they can’t speak to you, if you don’t understand what they are saying.

Anna will be visiting 3 countries on this year’s tour to Europe with a series of different workshops in each country so there’s something for everyone!

Anna Reaches Out to her English Roots…

ROTH is excited to be partnering with the Western Horse UK Horsemanship Journal to help bring Anna’s message all the way back to her roots in the UK!  This is the December 2017 publication.  Read along as she discusses the benefits of a personal program vs slotting all horses into a cookie cutter system that is one-size-fits-all for training.

A favorite quote:  “If you are looking for total compliance then I would strongly suggest you buy a motorcycle.”

Can we get a “Here, Here?!”

Always celebrating the individual and free nature of our favorite species, Anna’s approach is truly unique and the results can be obviously seen in how the horses respond.UK magazineUK magazine 2

Breakthroughs, Insights, and New Understanding During Animal Communication in the UK

18425129_1437164346344850_1207024097775476172_n

Anna concluded her 3-Day Animal Communication Workshop in Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire, UK, on the 14th of May.  A few of the participants were willing to share their discoveries and new understanding to help get the word out about Animal Communication and how it can help change perspectives and open hearts!

From Jill H. of Redmond, WA:

With my daughter graduating high school in June and thoroughly immersed in her ROTH Trainers Program, we decided to head to England for the first time to enjoy an animal communication weekend with Anna.  Although I had participated in single-day clinics and several webinars, I felt I was missing bits and pieces of animal communication – critical bits and pieces.  Perhaps a weekend devoted to animal communication in the iconic hills of England would jump start my abilities.  It was quite possibly sitting amongst those beautiful, gentle, British accents, or being on land so filled with history and leaving my world behind in the States that lead to several breakthroughs in my animal communication experience.

I have been surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes for many years.  Animals have always been part of my family.  Operating an animal-focused, summer day-camp in the Seattle area has allowed me to share my love and curiosity of the animal kingdom with many others.  I could connect with animals I knew. I could enter their realm to a degree, yet I never sensed they might communicate back to me in a shared language.  I would just know things about them but never experienced anything like a conversation back and forth.

In England, it dawned on me (through much instruction and shared reflection) that I was never really starting a conversation with them like I would another person or child.  Taking off their animal mask and imagining I was talking to the spirit of another being allowed the beginning of what Anna calls flow, the flow of shared information.  I then experienced how to start a conversation for the first time.  By starting with a gentle introduction, getting a feel for the individual, and by curious and creative use of direction/questions, I experienced a sensation of a more intertwined matrix of information that was available, as opposed to a tennis match – back and forth with force.

I often wondered if I could really see in pictures as often discussed in the animal communication clinics in which I had participated.  Maybe because I had never really opened any communication I rarely saw images or visual clips.  But sitting in the Yorkshire hills I was reminded that I do.  James Herriot’s books had long been a favorite, and I had read it many times over.  Here I was, sitting in the backdrop I had long ago seen in my mind.  I do see in pictures in my mind, it’s the real joy of reading.  If I can create imagery then I can receive it as well!

Discovering these nuances of animal communication allowed me to also experience just how dominant my left brain processes can be.  Once I do seek information in a more traditional question-and-answer pattern, I leave the shared matrix and communication stops.  So for now, we have short conversations, but not for long… Thanks to the lovely English folks, beautiful and historic scenery, and Anna’s expert guidance, my communication journey has begun anew!

Sue P. from York, UK:

My experience of Anna’s Workshop at Sowerby, Yorkshire, UK

All my life I have been interested in animals and I’ve always had very rewarding relationships with them.  When younger, at one time, I wanted to be a vet so that I could work with animals but that didn’t work out.  Now that my office-based working career is coming to an end, I decided that I wanted to get back to my first love and work with animals.  I’ve been volunteering at my local animal shelter for about a year now and love the bonds I have with the animals there.

Last year a couple of my very good friends told me about their experiences on a workshop in animal communication with Anna and suggested I attend her UK workshops in May 2016.  I was fascinated but Anna’s ability to give a voice to the animals but wasn’t sure I could do the same.  However, following the workshop I noticed that animals I met were more interested in me than before so I signed up for this year’s workshop near Sowerby in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

My experience this time was very different.  Suddenly, in doing the exercises that Anna gave us, I realised that the animals were as keen to communicate with me as I was to listen to them.  My perspective on animal communication has changed totally in the last twelve months and especially after the workshop.  I am still buzzing with the success I had with the exercises on the weekend workshop and Anna’s great feedback to me.  I will now definitely be taking my new skills forward and progressively honing and building on them.  I’m not sure how that will play out yet but I know that it will.

I thank Anna so much for making her annual trip over to the UK from the US where she lives and for her part in helping me to realise and acknowledge my skills in animal communication.  With the help of Anna and the fabulous group of people on the workshop I am in a great place on my journey and so happy to be so.

Sarah E. from Sheffield, UK:

My animal communication experience:

I first met Anna in 2010 when she traveled over to examine myself and another student for our instructor exams.

The next day Anna was delivering private animal communication sessions and asked me if I wanted to sit in. I have to admit my initial thought was “what a crock of s##t”, but boy how wrong I was!

Anna was connecting with a horse that I had previously done a one-off session with that had a mounting issue. To cut a long story short I trained the horse to listen to the neck strap from the floor then on board. He didn’t like any rein contact at all because of an old tongue injury.

As Anna was communicating with him, as she does with her fingers in her ears and I had to stifle a giggle, she reached over to me and touched my arm and said “he liked what you did with the neck strap that really helped him.”  This blew me away and I was stunned. This impromptu session with the horse was not known to anyone else, so HOW COULD ANNA KNOW?

So 7 years later I decided (pluck up the courage) to find out more. I already knew how to be around horses. I had worked with many different ones with different problems or phobias, but the energy work on the first day was amazing and so visual for me. I knew the horses were masters of non-verbal communication and would read our energy and intention behind it.

The exercise I really liked and will use in my work with people and their horses are the dowsing rods. It showed my own energy field to be small, which could work for me or against me. I had to work hard to increase my energetic presence but not hard at all to draw it in. I learned how to make mine bigger by my thoughts and project it out, which by the way I thought I was already able to do.

This is a great visual for people to help them see why their energy field could be getting in their way; too much presence or not enough. By this I am not only thinking about with the horses or other animals, but how that can impact everyday life when they meet someone for the first time. What does their energy say about them?  Does it enter the room before them?  Or do we not notice them enter?  What fun I can have with this.

Thank you, Anna, for three inspiring days,

Sarah

Lani S. of Redmond, WA:

When my Mom told me on the way to school one day that she wanted to go to England, I was a bit hesitant.  It would only be a week until we would take off from Washington State for the U.K. I had to decide whether or not to go.  I only had two hours to decide. I was pretty close to saying no because of the last-minute idea.  Now, I am happy we went. Being able to meet people in the great country of England, immersing myself in animal communication, and just being reminded of the powerful energetic connections between human and animals was incredible.
At the young age of seventeen, I have been able to meet people from multiple countries all around the world through Reach Out To Horses clinics.  I had so much fun getting to know the lovely group of people from England.  When I make connections with people from the country I am visiting it makes a greater impact.  Involving myself within the local people helps me understand the land and culture, allowing me to enjoy the new place I am visiting in a deeper way.  Instead of watching in wonder at the habits of a different country, you can learn from the people about the do’s and don’ts of their culture.  Spending my first three days in England with people who call it home helped me appreciate and understand the country.  I think I enjoyed the rest of my trip more because of the wonderful people I met at the clinic.
Since the first time I was introduced to animal communication, I was in awe that I could actually communicate with the animals I spent so much time with. I have done multiple animal communication clinic days and webinars with Anna, each time gaining more experience and making progress.  It is now, after our clinic in England, that I understand the importance of quieting the mind.  I have heard it many, many times and never understood how I could ever get my mind to quit bouncing thoughts back and forth.  I guess through practice I finally learned how to think about one thing at a time and truly settle the activity.  I didn’t realize that I had started to quiet my mind until I looked back on recent animal communication practices.  I had one session earlier this year while attending ROTH’s retreat in Costa Rica that left me feeling like I could maybe receive information from the animals.  England was my first time back at it.  I was extremely happy when I again got validated on information I received from the animal.  It was a great validation for me that I am making progress even though it can feel very slow at times.
Another thing that stood out to me was how much of a self-discovering journey learning animal communication is.  Learning how you interpret things, and how you feel things, and how you see, or hear the incoming information is an incredible journey in and of itself.  I have felt things all my life and to me my sense of feeling is almost like my sight.  Starting to learn what my feelings in animal communication mean has also helped me interpret those feelings in my life.  I have just started being able to put words to images and feelings I am receiving and I am learning what each little bit of information means.
From muscle testing to love lessons, I always love when I am immersed and reminded of the energetic connections between humans and animals.  Connecting to each on a deep level below the superficial is incredible.  You can see action being utilized to give back to one another. During the clinic in Yorkshire, I was able to connect through Reiki energy healing to a horse and share time together.  I don’t have words for the peaceful moments we spent together heart to heart, simply sharing space and connecting.  It was mutual and we both gave back to one another.
I had a fabulous time spent with amazing people and equally amazing animals.  I learned a lot.  I am very happy that we traveled all 6,000 miles to Yorkshire, England, to participate in the clinic taught by Anna.  I went on to enjoy other parts of England with fond memories looking back.  So much fun was had and I truly appreciate the opportunity that arose for myself and everyone else in the clinic.

Anna visits the UK in Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire, for the 3-Day Animal Communication Workshop this May 12-14th!

Join Anna in the UK this May!

This year we are excited to announce a new, extraordinary, 3-day animal communication class!
You are super intuitive!
You listen to your heart… your gut.
The people around you know you have a strong affinity for animals.
You can be extremely empathic to the point that it might even affect you in social situations.
You relate to animals extremely well and already know that you are dialed in.
But there have been times when you didn’t trust the messages you were getting: Times you weren’t sure if the connection was real.
