For those of you that attended last year’s Hay Bales & Horse Tales, you know how much fun was had by all! We’ve scheduled this foot-stomping event for Saturday, October 30th! This year promises to be bigger and better and nationally-known country music performers Jon Chandler and Pete Martinez will return for a repeat performance! And our new facility at Pines at Genesee offers lots of dancing room this year! Our silent auction promises to have a vast array of treasures from fine art to jewelry and equestrian items (and we’re already taking donations, if you’d like to donate to our auction!). This is a sell-out event, so get your tickets early and don’t miss out on the fun!
Are you still in need of spring flowers? The Colorado Horsecare Foodbank Flowers For Food greenhouse still has flowers available for purchase and customer orders! We’ll be in downtown Evergreen this weekend and can help you get your spring planting done! Call Juliana at 303.670.6762 for details.
A call for volunteers! Our organization’s fundraising opportunities continue to grow, as does our need for volunteers! Currently, we are seeking to expand our volunteer base! We are in need of people with volunteer management experience, computer skills, data entry, web site capabilities, communication skills, event planning experience, greenhouse experience and donation solicitation skills! If you’d be interested in helping keep Colorado horses with their owners, please e-mail us and one of our board members would be delighted to speak with you!
Thanks for your continued support and we hope to see you soon!
