The Germany of My Childhood

Germany was where I first felt the profound connection to the horses and I have made a point of going back there to share that passion with a group of wonderful people who are brought together by Wilfried Grebe and his lovely wife, Claudia. Kindred spirits unite in these lush places where the horses share their own language with students as they embrace the role they were born to fill: Master Teachers!

Hey!  Be Wise… Hay Wise!

We are grateful for our Hay Wise slow feeder that has been brought in to give our herd a bit of moderation to their feeding regimen during times when the pasture grasses are low.  Hermes certainly approves and the horses are maintaining healthier weights with their new feeder that more closely mimics their natural style of trickle feeding.

Fancy a Frolic with the Foals?

Final foals 2019

Let us show you how to create a bond that can’t be broken.

Over the course of 7 days, Anna will introduce you to her unique and comprehensive foal gentling methodologies. Through gentle, compassionate, and supportive communication, you will discover how to quickly and effectively introduce foals to the world of humans, training, and even their own language. These techniques are also very effective for untouched and spooky horses, and to help solve the most frustrating behavioral issues with all your horses.

You will learn (and put to use) the same uniquely designed and tested program that Anna, herself, has developed and used to start hundreds of foals!

Gentling foals can be some of the most important and rewarding work you will ever do. In this case, your efforts are even more critical. The foals we work with in this event are untrained and rescued. So in addition to getting world-class, groundbreaking training, you are helping these innocent, rescued souls. You are giving them a loving, heart-filled introduction to the human-horse connection, and gaining a solid foundation that will help them in their lives. You are also helping them to gain a greater possibility of being adopted, and a second-chance at a life they deserve to live.

The 2017 HHC Journeys to the Crystal Show in Denver, CO!

Holistic Health Support and Healing are a signature part of the HHC, and ROTH was fortunate this year that one of the largest crystal shows in the US coincided with the course.  Some of our students chose to do their presentation on several crystals that spoke to them on a spiritual level.  Below is a list of the crystals and some of the more prominent aspects and healing properties associated with each.

Which crystals speak to you spiritually?  Have you used crystals before on either horses or yourself?  If so, which ones and what was your experience?  Feel free to share your comments on our Facebook page that accompanies this post!

Apophyllite

Apophyllite

Keywords: Spiritual Connection and Meditation

A crystal of facilitating and strengthening consciousness. Apophyllite brings high energy to mystical and other endeavors.  When placed on the third-eye chakra, it can help one see the truth for use in spiritual growth and connection.

Mental and Emotional Health– It is used to help one see the truth and then act on it.  It assists one in an ability to see and comprehend their own behaviors and attitudes that fearful avoidance may have kept hidden.  With the new self-awareness, one can find a way to move forward in both their practical life and spirituality.

Amethyst

Amethyst

Keywords: Psychic and Sobriety

Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone that works on the emotional, spiritual, and physical areas to promote calm, balance, and peace.  It is used to eliminate impatience.  It can increase spirituality and enhance intuition and psychic powers.

Mental and Emotional Health– It is used to help heal personal losses and grief.  It has a gentle energy that can promote peacefulness, happiness and contentment.  It brings emotional stability and inner strength to be strong in one’s life, enhancing flexibility and cooperation.

Cobaltian CalciteCobaltian Calcite

Fluorite

fluorite

Fluorite is a highly protective and stabilizing stone, useful for grounding and harmonizing spiritual energy.  When working with the upper Chakras, Fluorite increases intuitive abilities, links the human mind to universal consciousness, and develops connection to Spirit.  Fluorite further anchors intuitive insights into the physical plane, allowing mental and physical coordination.  A popular stone among energy healers, Fluorite can also clear the aura of mucky energies.

Physical Health- Physically, Fluorite is known to strengthen bones and teeth, and ameliorate the pain associated with arthritis.  Fluorite is also used to enhance mental functions by balancing the chemistry in the brain.

Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz has a pink hue due to several minerals including manganese and titanium. Physical features: known as a heart and circulatory tonic, and it improves circulation.

Physical Health-  Best for injuries and wounds but will also reduce stress.  Very good as a water stone.  It promotes the balance of all bodily functions especially when combined with amethyst and rock crystal.

Appreciation from the Wild Horse Sanctuary

Dear Anna,

I am so thankful that we found each other thru a DVD that you mailed to us 2 years ago.  Sarah Lockwood (one of your certified trainers) did an amazing job of getting us together. I learned so much in this 7-day Reach Out to Horses course about the horses and myself that this has changed me forever. I cannot begin to put into words how much it meant to me to see some of our really difficult wild mustangs reach out to us!  That has forever changed their lives and now they can build on trusting their two-legged partners. They allowed people to come into their space and trust us. All of us students gave these horses an amazing foundation at the pace the horse would accept and we all accomplished our goals in the end. Our success story is Cookie, a cute mustang, who was lucky enough to have worked with all of the students that week. She went to an amazing supporter of The Wild Horse Sanctuary, Barbara Webb. The other horses are still waiting on their life partners. We are enthusiastically looking forward to next year’s 7-day ROTH course at The Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown, CA. I cannot only highly recommend this course to everybody, I would strongly suggest it to any horse lover wanting to take their knowledge to the next level.  You will learn so much about yourself and the horses that you will be a different person after this course for life. On behalf of our mustangs Spice, Dodger Dan, Gypsy, Crystal, Aisha, Ayla, Owen, Cookie and Dutch, we would like to thank you and all of the students who made a difference in their lives and gave them an amazing foundation.  Many lives were changed for the better in your week here.
