ROTH has caught wind of this sweet older mare looking for a new forever home. If you need a companion horse this is a great choice.

If you can take this precious horse, or know anyone who can help, please contact my friend Sarah (contact information below).
THANK YOU for your help!!!
Savannah’ History

I’ve owned Savannah for about 2 1/2 years. She was bought off of a dude string as a horse they were retiring and she needed that. She has arthritis in both front knees making it hard for her to do any more trail rides. She is only sound walking but is completely kid friendly and has been a saint for my 3 1/2 year old son. He was first on her back as a 2 year old and she was good then too. I believe her to be in her late 20’s. She is an easy keeper. She needs 4-5 pounds of senior a day and a couple flakes of hay. She gets along with every horse she has ever been with. Would be better not living in a stall because of her knees.
I’m very sad to need to re-home her. My gelding ( whom she was bought to be his companion) died suddenly the end of may. Both horses had been at home, but during the same time I was going through a separation and am now a single mom living in an apartment. She is currently being boarded to the tune of $400 a month. Soon I will be struggling both financially as well as schedule to give her the care that she needs. I understand she isn’t the kind of girl most would want, but she still has a couple of good years for a small kid or handicap program that could love her.

Please pass the word on to anyone you know who could offer her a kind retirement. Thankyou thankyou!
