Natalie’s Journey thru Cancer

Subject: My Journey thru Cancer

I have spend the past year in a fight against breast cancer.  It has been an incredible year full of what you would expect from chemotherapy; exhaustion, nausea, fogginess etc.  However, it has also been a year full of self discovery and emotional and spiritual processing.  I am still processing all the ways that cancer has impacted my life.

My reasons for doing this walk are twofold.

1.  To help raise funds to find a cure for this disease, and also to help fund alternative services for people now going thru their own battle with cancer.  Avon funds, nutrition therapy, meditation classes, support groups, accupunture, and many other services.  They are also fighting hard to help find other treatments.

2.  This walk for me is about reclaiming my body.  I have been working hard on the emotional and spiritual growth from this life lesson.  Now it is time for me to reclaim my physical body and strength.

I can’t do it without your help. Though I’m required to raise at least $1,800 in donation, I plan to raise much more!

I hope that I can count on your support.

You can make a donation to my fundraising campaign right here on the website by clicking on the pink “Donate Now” button. If you prefer to write a check, just contact me and I’ll send you the information and form.

As I prepare for this exciting event, I plan to update this page frequently so that all my supporters can follow my progress, so please visit often. While you’re here, you might want to spend some time on the site to find out more information on why this event is so important, and the organizations and people that will be helped by the money we all raise.

Thank you in advance.

With deep gratitude

Natalie
