Hey there, it’s Anna once again with a question for you.

Have you seen the movie The Bucket List?

In the movie, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman go on a journey to do those things they’ve always wanted to do.  Both men were diagnosed with cancer and received treatment.  Both faced a poor prognosis from the doctors after their treatment.

After the bad news, Morgan Freeman’s character started writing out a list one of his teachers called “Your Bucket List”; You know, those things you want to do before you “kick the bucket.”

Jack Nicholson’s character, receiving much the same prognosis latched onto the idea and convinced Morgan Freeman they should do the entire list together.

The two of them traveled the world, visited exotic places, and did wonderfully crazy things like skydiving and crashing expensive racing cars on the racetrack.

I’m still writing my “bucket list.”  Have you started writing your own yet?

One of Reiki’s most effective uses is in the healing of horses. Horses, and animals in general, are great clients for energy work because they don’t have any preconceived notions or skepticism that often get in the way of human receptivity. An animal is simply present to the experience. If it likes it, it likes it and if it doesn’t it leaves: Simple as that.

We have found that most horses love Reiki. They will quite often relax into the healing session, lower their heads, keeping a leg cocked in a relaxed position and even close their eyes as they enjoy the sensation. Many times you can even hear their stomachs gurgle as the healing energy flows through them, clearing energy blocks as it goes. And when they have had enough, they will often let you know by “waking up” and sometimes even walking away.

During the workshop you will learn how to:

• Ask for “permission” from your animal companions

• Set up a safe Reiki session

• Scan your horse’s body

I was talking with my friend Bill the other day, and he shared how fortunate he felt he was to grow up in the era of classic television.  As a youngster, he never missed shows like Lassie, Rin-tin-tin, and Mr. Ed.  Bill told me how much he loved dreaming about the possibility of understanding EVERYTHING his animal companions were trying to tell him because of watching those shows.

Bill’s dream of communicating with animals never faded, even as he grew older.  That brought him to one of my animal communication classes, where he learned how to connect and converse with the animals in his life.  He now uses this skill as a professional horse trainer, often amazing his clients with how quickly he connects with their horses.

Hi Anna,  Anna here again.

More than any other reason, people call me for help with behavior issues.  They call upset and frustrated, sometime, even with tears flowing because they are at their wit’s end.  They don’t know what to do and they are contemplating giving up their animal, or worse, because they just don’t know what to do!

Maybe their “little angel” started being aggressive to the cat.  Or, out of the clear blue sky their horse has started to bite at them whenever they got too close.

One of my students, let’s just call him “Mel,” is a professional horse trainer.  Like me, he’s often called in to solve behavior issues with both young and old horses.  Sometimes he’ll use clicker training, other times, more traditional, humane methods to lead the horse to proper manners around people.

One case in particular really called on ALL his abilities, including the animal communication skills I coached him in several years ago.

A client’s horse had suddenly and unexpectedly bucked her off while taking a bareback pleasure ride around the property.  They’d both enjoyed these rides, at least that’s what the owner thought until this incident.

“Senator” had been her partner for many years, serving as both a wonderful riding lesson horse and relaxing riding partner.  Mel’s client was now afraid to ride her beloved horse, it had shaken her so much.

He brought both of them to the round pen, and after hearing a brief description of what went on from her, he knew the answer would come directly from Senator.  So, he “tuned” into the horse to start a conversation.

Senator was all too willing to discuss the matter.  Seems his partner had been under quite a bit of strain lately, and whenever she rode him, Senator said she wasn’t “connected” to him, and wasn’t fully present.  Senator told him if she didn’t want to totally be with him, then she could just get off and stay off.  Senator shared this had been going on for quite some time, and he’d finally had enough.

So, Mel asked Senator if it would be okay to talk with her about what he said, and he gavepermission.  After a brief talk with the client, Mel asked Senator if it would be okay for her to get on.  He said okay.

Mel had her step up the steps and mount Senator bareback, and took the lead rope from her hands.  Slowly, Mel led Senator from further and further away, relaying from Senator how he wanted her to sit, trust, and connect with him as they rode.  Her fear slowly faded, eyes misted with joyful tears, and they both relaxed and started enjoying the ride together.

Imagine, for just a minute, how wonderful it would be if you could find out the reason for misbehavior and partner with your companion for a solution.

Because so many of you forwarded this email to your friends, there have been over 264,000 downloads of the World Peace Cards. This is a tremendous increase in the number of people using the cards. So far the total number of World Peace Card sets downloaded, received from our free offer and from our magazine has been more than 279,000! I hope you have been using your peace cards as their use brings blessings to the world as well as to you.

The next World Peace Card group meditation has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 11 at 7:30pm. This is local time in your time zone. This method has been chosen because of the special effect it produces. As people meditate in each successive time zone the energy builds like a wave which gets stronger and stronger as it circles the planet. Because of the higher dimensional nature of consciousness, the energy of peace will be transmitted for a full 24 hours and continue long after this.

Reports from those who took part in the previous meditations indicate many had powerful spiritual experiences. As they united with those taking part in the meditation a feeling of peace developed within that stayed with each for a long time. Some saw beautiful golden light surrounding the planet and others felt that a web of fear was dissipating and being replaced with trust in others and for our future.

All those who have received the cards are being asked to meditate on world peace at this time. By taking part in this group meditation, you’ll be joining thousands of people who will be using the cards to bring peace to the world. By joining together, the affect we have will be greatly multiplied. This powerful experience and will help shift the vibration of our wonderful planet into a higher state of consciousness. As you use the cards to meditate on world peace, you will be a beacon through which peace will spread around the planet which will have a positive uplifting effect on all people.

Please set aside this time to meditate with the cards. The suggested meditation period is 15 minutes, but of course you can meditate longer if you’d like to. The technique I’d like you to use is based on allowing yourself to be a beacon of peace. The World Peace Cards hold the vibration of the World Peace Grids which have been placed at spiritually significant locations and are relay stations for higher consciousness. By simply opening to their energy, you’ll become a channel for their love and peace which will flow through you to all the people on Earth. To do this, hold the cards in your hands or place them in front of you. Then simply meditate on peace.

We are entering a new era. Our entire planet including all the people and living things are moving into a place where it will be much easier to solve our problems and to create peace, prosperity and happiness for everyone. The World Peace Card meditation will quicken this process, making it easier for people to experience this new quality of higher consciousness and will provide great benefit for all people. Since this benefit will be flowing through you out to everyone on the planet, you’ll be blessed by this experience as well.

Robyn Dolby, of Woodbury, adopted a horse through a rescue program seven years ago. Her horse, Tytus, is an enormous black percheron that weighs 1,400 pounds and 18 “hands” high. A “hand” is the standard method of measuring a horse and equals 4 inches.

Tytus came from Equine Angels Rescue, E.A.R., of New Milford, which has rescued 100s of PMU foals over the last 11 years. Premarin, or PMU, stands for pregnant mare urine.

Dolby said Tytus is a wonderful riding horse. “When we went to get him there were about a dozen foals there. They were shy with humans, and they would only let you get a little close before they would run away,” she said.

“He was scared at first, but he didn’t suffer before we got him. They ween the foals too early, but when Frank gets them, the farmers will let them stay with their mother longer,” Dolby said, speaking of Frank Weller, founder of the non-profit organization,Equine Angels Rescue, E.A.R.

Weller’s first experience working with the foals affected him deeply. “We took two hours to feed 240 of the foals and I stayed overnight with them.  The energy that came off of them was very intense, very inspiring.
